Modularity Networks LLC, doing business as Modularity Hosting ("we", "us"), provides managed hosting and digital services. This policy explains what personal information we collect on modularityhosting.com and in our client portal, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account and contact details such as your name, company, email address, phone number and billing address when you register, place an order or contact us.
- Billing information. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Service and technical data such as domains, hosting configuration, IP addresses, browser type and log data needed to run and secure the services.
- Support communications including tickets, emails and messages you send us.
- Preferences. Our sites remember your light or dark mode choice in your browser’s local storage. We do not use that information to track you.
3. How we use information
We use your information to provide and bill for services, create and manage your account, provide support, send service and security notices, prevent fraud and abuse, improve our products, and meet legal obligations. We may send you product news or offers where the law allows, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run our business: payment processors; infrastructure, email and security providers; domain registries and certificate authorities when you register a domain or order a certificate; the provider of any third-party product you order (for example SiteLock, CodeGuard, NordVPN, SocialBee, Nova or mod.cards); and our form-handling provider when you submit a contact form. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The client portal uses cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and keep your session secure. Our marketing site uses local storage for your display preference. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future we will update this policy.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax, accounting and security purposes, then delete or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account details in the client portal. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by law.
9. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International transfers
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers.
